Kraken officially confirmed filing for a closed IPO with the SEC, valuing the company at $13.3 billion after Deutsche Börse invested $200 million.

Kraken, one of the largest and longest-running crypto exchanges in the US, has officially confirmed it has confidentially filed for an IPO with the SEC.

According to the latest report, the exchange is targeting a valuation of $13.3 billion. This comes shortly after Deutsche Börse invested $200 million in exchange for a 1.5% stake in Kraken. The move signals strong institutional confidence in Kraken’s long-term growth and compliance-focused business model.

If successful, Kraken would become one of the biggest crypto companies to go public in 2026, following in the footsteps of Coinbase and potentially opening the door for more traditional finance players to enter the space.
