Strategy (formerly known as MicroStrategy) has just announced another massive Bitcoin purchase: 13,927 BTC for approximately $1.00 billion at an average price of $71,902 per BTC.
As of April 12, 2026, the company now holds a total of 780,897 BTC, acquired for ~$59.02 billion at an average cost of $75,577 per BTC. This latest buy pushes their BTC Yield to 5.6% YTD 2026. The entire purchase was funded through proceeds from their Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock (STRC).
Michael Saylor’s Strategy continues to lead corporate Bitcoin accumulation, reinforcing its position as one of the largest institutional holders in the market.
