24-Hour Account Lock Policy

  1. Purpose

The 24-hour account lock policy is implemented by ONFA to enhance proactive security for user accounts and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, and asset theft. This is an automatic protective mechanism designed to safeguard users’ digital assets in potential risk situations, operating alongside ONFA’s security monitoring system.

  2. Cases That Trigger the 24-Hour Lock

The ONFA system will automatically activate a temporary 24-hour security lock when it detects actions that may affect account security, including but not limited to:

  • Changing or resetting the login password
  • Re-activating or changing Smart OTP
  • Logging in from a new device
  • Simultaneous logins from multiple devices

Note: If a user deletes and reinstalls the ONFA application, the system will recognize it as a new device and apply the corresponding security measures.

 

  3. Features Restricted During the 24-Hour Lock

During the 24-hour security lock period, users will temporarily be unable to perform asset movement–related actions, including:

  • On-chain asset transfers
  • Off-chain asset transfers
  • Selling digital assets on the ONFA platform

Functions that do not affect asset security—such as logging in, viewing balances, and checking transaction history—will remain fully available.

 

  4. Unlocking and Transaction Restoration

After 24 hours from the time the lock is activated, the system will automatically restore full trading functionality. Users do not need to take any additional verification steps and may resume normal transactions immediately.

 

  5. User Protection Principles

ONFA confirms that the 24-hour lock mechanism is solely for account protection and does not interfere with users’ asset ownership rights. All assets remain fully secure throughout the lock period. All lock statuses are recorded and transparently displayed within the system.

This policy is designed with a security-first approach, prioritizing safety over speed—especially in sensitive situations involving account security.

 

  6. Effectiveness

This 24-hour account lock policy takes effect from the date it is officially published on the ONFA platform. ONFA reserves the right to adjust its security mechanisms to meet higher safety standards and will publicly announce any changes when applicable.
